Minuit by Candice Perese

Art print design by Candice Perese for Hôtel Magique.
Minuit was constructed using two main recurring elements in my work, an archway and wavy lines in a colour palette inspired by Hôtel Magique Sunshine Estate.
Moody, balmy, dusk with a hint of vintage, almost like someone wearing a billowing kaftan sipping on a cocktail garnished with a tiny umbrella.
The original artwork for the Minuit art print was handmade with a wax pencil on heavy-weight ‘Hot pressed’ paper.

Hôtel Magique art prints are printed in the Netherlands on 300 gsm FSC and PEFC-certified Biotop paper. 
Sizes A3 and A2 are available unframed or framed with our signature matt black aluminium or wood finish frames.
Size A1 comes unframed.

Candice Perese is an artist from New Zealand currently residing in Australia.
With a background in painting that has evolved over the last 4 years as a drawing practice she primarily uses heavy-weight fine art paper and coloured wax pencil. 
Her work is heavy colour based and subject matter varies but mostly rests on bold and graphic abstract forms, patterns, and gradients.
