Kunstenaar Naira Angelica: "Het idee voor dit werk ontstond toen ik Hotel BonSol tegenkwam. Er was iets in de sfeer, de warmte, rust en stille elegantie, dat me meteen bijbleef. Het deed me denken aan het soort licht en stilte dat zowel extern als intern aanvoelt. Het mediterrane thema spreekt me enorm aan. De warmte van de zon, de levendige kleuren en de rijke culturele sfeer zijn elementen die me artistiek inspireren."
